Commitment to design excellence is reflected by Richard Pierpoint's design successes, which include the Civic Design Award for a campus style commercial office development (design and build), together with a Civic Design Award and Brick Development Association Regional Award for a major shopping and transport complex. Most recently RPA received the Civic Design Award for a Golf Clubhouse.

A vital keystone of the practice is its ongoing investment in Computer Aided Design and training.
